  1. I hope people watching this understand that it happens to everyone and it doesn’t discriminate. People think since you are rich and famous you have nothing to be depressed about

  2. solstice wear Wolf depression.gravity during the end of summer planet earth makes that turn towards the unknown instinct kicks in and all we can do is wait to die

  3. Jim Root is hands down one of the greatest guitarists of all time. He’s so underrated. Watching his videos he seems like one of the coolest guys in metal and bet he’s wicked to hang out with. ‘Never meet your heroes because they will only disappoint you’ sorry but that’s bull shit if you ask me! I’d give anything to meet him. 🤘🏻

  4. Slipknot died after Iowa. Since the third album it's just a bunch of guys pretending to be Slipknot. There's no way the same band that put out Iowa started putting out Hot Topic emo garbage like they do now.

  5. Man that was pretty heavy. During Covid I was stuck off in my room working 24 seven. Didn’t see anybody for months. It got super depressing. I ended up buying a lathe and started making pens. It’s a silly hobby and no one’s really buying Pens anymore but it pulled me out of a funk and gave me some newfound sense of purpose.

  6. So tired of hearing excuses for putting out a disappointing album. They have taken plenty of time between albums before. And if you look at it the past 2 years has been a greatest hits tour. C’mon!!!

  7. I'm glad your feeling better ♡ Much Love ❤ Jim ! thank you for sharing with us. I have been there alot as many of us . Stay Strong 💪 Jim. Love You! Thank you. For your amazing 👏 music 🎶

  8. I had EXACTLY 100% the same problem as Jim. Guitar and music in general just reminded me of everything I couldn't do, I quit my band, I didn't pick up a guitar for a full year. I'm getting back to it now but it was a whole new brutal depression that I'd never experienced before. I've dealt with depressing before but nothing like 2020-2021, it was very different.

  9. I was depressed too during the pandemic, I cried at work because I wasn't able to save everyone with the limited healthcare resources that I had during that time. The emergency department was neglected as all resources went to the icu.

  10. Sounds like he’s trying to distance himself from this album and it sucks he’s going through that I’ve had something happen to me too where I just didn’t care anymore as well so glad he got through that but I think he knows this album is not too good

  11. Shame seems jim was the only person stopping shaun from writing the entire album. Cause its absolutely terrible. Never let clown have creative control of the music his idea of what we want is as warped as his videos. They work the songs not so much 😂😂

  12. i can relate to Jim about covid taking your drive away. I was doing Muay Thai before covid and had a fight lined up the week the world shutdown in March of 2020. Ive gone to gyms here and there for the first year which was difficult because I moved an hour away from my gym. I then moved again an year and a half later. I have yet to join a new gym and i still dont know anyone in my area that is into martial arts like me.

Its been 2 and a half years since i was full time in a gym and I still havent found the drive to put myself back. I honest think i am afraid of going back because i have so much time lost.
