    "Everything great abt the Misfits was bc of Danzig." I thought all their best material and best style was after him. Michael Graves Era ftw
    The rose tinted glasses line abt Mr. Bungle. I mean they are objectively skilled and play some wacky, intricate stuff. Can't really hate on it moreso just say it isn't your preference

12. How did the 18 year-old you process the avant-garde postmodern jazz/noise-metal of Mr. Bungle's Disco Volante? For example, "Carry Stress in the Jaw," "The Bends," or "Merry Go Bye Bye?" Too juvenile for you still? How about the 22 year-old you processing the post-post-modern "None of Them Knew They were Robots," "Ars Moriendi," or "Goodbye Sober Day"? Did you find the references to Mendel, the construction of a super-AI, human-decimating Golem too sophomoric? Or the Latin-language infused "Art of Dying" overly mundane for your sophisticated mind? How about the Baudrillard-inspired, meta-exploration of simulacra v. simulation in employing kecak (ironically?) in "Goodbye Sober Day"? Must seem so puerile for a mind as sophisticated as yours, yeah?

16. I was hoping to see Hated…And Proud up here (a side project from the guy from Machinehead), tho it doesn't suck, so understandable that its not here…its just very different. Its like hardcore US oi! and I, personally, think every song is great…its just really hard to find. As far as I know, it was only released on cassette some time around 1996 or so

20. Finn! How you not going to include “Graves” as a side project from the misfits but talk about the X ward? Graves – Web of Dharma was a great album and he’s had many good ones since then like the album he did with Damien Echols – “illusions”. Side note, my band played with Dr. Chuds X ward and it was fucking awful

21. man, i loved SOD back in the day… then one year my cousin tells us she’s bringing her boyfriend who’s “in a band” home for christmas. i about effing died when dan lilker walked in my door. almost died a few times that week actually… like when i sat around the breakfast table in my jammies eating bagels with the bass player from brutal truth and nuclear assault 😍 or my aunt trying on his spiked gauntlets 😂 anyway… she married that boyfriend she brought home to us, which makes my little metal heart beyond happy 🤘🏻

26. Everytime I Die is one of those bands that was over hyped to me before I heard them so they'll always kind of frustrate me. So many kids told me about the genuis amd poetry of Keith Buckley and then I finally sat down and listened to an Album and it was just fine. Not bad, I enjoyed it but not like these other kids. I literally had a guy say to me at a show that Buckley is our generations Jim Morrison (who used poetry to hide the fact that he was an asshole) idk if this is isolated to the scene I grew up in or if EID is considered big brain poetry by all their fans

27. Infectious Grooves is genuinely good funk metal. It’s fun and easy going. Corny perhaps but it isn’t meant to be the most serious project to begin with it’s suppose to be fun.

28. SOD is an essential crossover thrash band. SOD, Suicdal, DRI, and Excel were all essential in me getting into crossover.

38. Anthrax and Public Enemy together sucked. SOD , Nailbomb , all the goofy short songs like Lesbians , Hang the Pope etc ruined Otherwise good Metal Albums by Nuclear Assault. I only like serious Metal that is why both Anthrax and SOD totally suck . The only decent Anthrax album was Fistful of Metal. Phil Anselmo's side projects are a joke because he sounds identical to how he sings for Pantera, he may as well just called all his other bands Pantera JR . No matter what music is going on with the bands his Voice makes them all sound like Pantera. The fact he is capable of singing many different styles just is lazy to do what is the easiest. It's like James Hetfield singing for 200 different bands with the Vocals he uses for every Metallica album recorded after 1988 , boring

39. Bro you have GOT to check out Wes Borland’s black light burns with a few ex-NIN and puscifer members. Infinitely better than Bigdumbface. Just listen to the songs “The Mark” or “Burn the World”, you’ll see for yourself
