Do you want blink 182 to continue as a three-piece or would you want Skiba to perform live with them still?
No offense to the original blink, but Skiba brought a whole other level of vocals to the blink music line up that to be perfectly honest, beat the shit out of anything blink had released prior to him joining. You can just tell off the bat by listening to the difference that skiba was better for the band than tom was.
Dam, Matt is a stand-up guy.
Mark had cancer??!?
Imagine if Matt turns out to be a third vocalist and a backing guitarist, the band could have been a 4 piece together if they made another album after that.
Thanks Matt! Your time was short lived with the band, but your contributions and the music you helped put out with blink was great!
Alkaline trio. Just go listen.
shouldn't have been called blink with him in it
dude matt looks like forrest gump in the thumbnail
Go Matt Skiba, blink was fine with him. Alkaline Trio was sick and he deserves the credit
tom found the aliens now he’s back
I think blink has always been the trio but Matt did awesome on the nine album generational divide is one of my favorite songs
"Do you know how much money Simple Plan are raking in with THEIR Nostalgia Detour Tours? Blink was way bigger than them, and WE could charge even MORE for tickets, since our heyday was 22 years ago and Simple Plan's just 20. What, you bailed on the band just hours before a show, changed your number on us, Tom? Again? Welcome back! So long, Matt! You sucked live anyway!"
if the tickets were cheap, I'd still think this was cynical as hell. and the tickets ain't cheap.
Blink changed my life, like it changed a whole many lives. way back when. but this has never ended well, and we'd be foolish to believe this is being done for honest reasons.
I have my doubts if Tom sings Better than Matt. His voice is not The same.
Matt helps blink to write good songs again after years.
No hate towards Blink 182 but I like Alkaline Trio Better. Ever since I seen Blink 182 and Alkaline Trio play the first Honda Civic Tour together (when some band dropped out they were a fill-in) I knew I'd enjoy Alkaline Trio's music more than Blink 182.
Matt should stay in the band ! Make the band a 4 piece ! The more, the better imo
Tom will quit again. He's a total clown.
It wasn't really blink 182 anymore, it was plus 44
Good riddance
Toms letter shouts "this is my band not your band don't you think you are or were Blink 182 you were just a stand in, but I don't want to seem like an arsehole so you've done well".
Ticket prices are so dumb. No "punk" or anyone is paying $400(au) for a ticket. I love this band but it's just bussiness now
