4. The way he describes intrusive thoughts is hilarious and accurate. Religion weaponizes your inner monologue and makes you react to every "sinful" thought like you just touched an electric fence. If you're lucky you learn that having weird or "bad" thoughts is not an ethical dilemma; it's just your brain idling and throwing out random associations and "what if…" scenarios like it always does, and you don't need to berate yourself for it.

24. i actually found over 60 dollars in scratched tickets on a walk one morning. Unless they just blew out of someone's car I can't imagine what lead to them being there. It was like half a dozen LARGE cards and 3 were good for 20 bucks and a few more for a buck or two. My reward for cleaning up litter or something idk.
