Lyrics:
I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in doubt. Don’t shake me, don’t wake me. I got a battle I aim to win now. I don’t want to fall back from bowing out. Don’t shame me, don’t take me or lock me down in the walls where I’d dissolve. Where I don’t belong. I hope you die healing the habitual way of a life in a body overthrown. I’ll always rise far beyond the chemicals run through the veins and shot to the place you’ve grown. So take your pity and go. I won’t waste my life looking back. I ain’t got the time and this ain’t the place. To count all the minutes that passed. I’ll be hanging on whether you’re still around or you’re long gone. Don’t shame me, don’t take me. Or lock me down until I’m done. Where I’d dissolve. Where I don’t belong. I hope you die healing the habitual way of a life in a body overthrown. I’ll always rise far beyond the chemicals run through the veins and shot to the place you’ve grown. I may go but it won’t mean I’ve gone. It won’t mean I’ve lost. I won’t cave. I’m wide awake. I’m not afraid, I’m wide awake. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in doubt. Don’t shake me, don’t wake me. I got a battle to win. I hope you die healing the habitual way of a life in a body overthrown. I’ll always rise far beyond the chemicals run through the veins and shot to the place you’ve grown.

I saw these guys in Madison, WI in 1999 playing in a basement at a house party.
Chuck sings with his heart and soul, like the life on earth depends on it
Chuck Ragan…. that is all.
I saw them for the first time at Gainesville ‘97, including Blacktop Cadence. Saw ‘em a few more times after. They’re still making me feel undefeated decades later.
Love this band so much!
Africa loves you❤
Thanks guys. You have a huge place in my heart. And the fact you made time for me in Auckland was so amazing. I was transfixed and I couldn’t move but you boys were such sweethearts. Thanks again. Keep going. You touch so many people.
I started listening to them in 2002
100 out of 100! From Russia with love!!!
Nice!!! reminds me of the strength that Turnstile gave me when it was dark.
Keep pushing forward✊🏼
That's a man
George looking like an overweight Dave Grohl ha. Sorry George you’re one of my favorite drummers so is Dave.
I am from Gainesville Florida the birth place of Hot Water Music. I saw them for the first time at Brick City in Gainesville and they have been a staple in my life. HWM makes truly life changing music. I was fortunate to have met most of the guys in the band at this little Mexican restaurant that I used to work at called El Toro. Very down to earth and very cool people. Gainesville in the 90s had a music scene like no other. There was always great bands and shows going on all the time back then. God do I miss those days. Chuck, Chris, Jason and George, I love you guys and love will live on as long as I am breathing. I've even passed the torch and have gotten my 14 year old listening to HWM. I'm trying to bring her up right with good taste in music. Anyway I truly hope all is well with everyone out there. Be cool, be safe and for gods sake be good to each other out there. Life is to short. I love you "ALL"!!!!!
You guys are by far my favorite band of all time. This is one of the best songs I've heard in a very long time. continue the good work.

20 years this band has definitely always been my number 1. Best band ever
Damn… HWM saved my life… just thanks
Good to see Dave Grohl back on drums! 😀
Damn, Chuck, giving those sweat glands a workout! Ha. Killer tune! Chris works great in the lineup.
I was lucky enough to encounter this band live during one of the hardest part of my life and I am so fucking in awe. Thank you for existing and for what you do, my life is better just because of your music.
I hope…….😍☮️☮️☮️☮️✋☮️☮️
This band got so bad over the years lol
Needed this song now more than ever. I lost a close friend recently unexpectedly; and now I quit everything bad for me. Love you guys. Keep up the great creating.
I lost my father to cancer three days ago. During these times, I used to send him a song every evening to support and cheer him up when I wasn’t with him. This is the last song I was able to send to him last Saturday. Thank you so much HWM for being some kind of rock to me. Maximum love and respect to you.
nice!
Escuto HWM desde 2004, os caras não param!
