0:00 Intro
0:05 Only put the factory-recommended brake fluid in your reservoir.
The technician thinks that the customer put some sort of ATF in the brake fluid reservoir. ATF will eat away at the seals of the master cylinder and other system components, cause leaks, and destroy your brake system.
0:16 The technician said: “It rolled in with one lug bolt on the driver wheel! The car was purchased at my dealership in January and they came in for a complimentary oil change. No complaint at all! I think someone has a bone to pick with them! All the other lugs were tight including that one, which is a locking lug nut.”
0:28 No extra info.
0:41 Front to back was completely full of dog hair which the technician thinks was possibly the smell. 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier.
0:55 No extra info.
1:05 The bolts to hold the bottom of the shock weren’t installed on the passenger side.
1:13 The customer spliced into the tail light wiring to install the aftermarket brake lights. As shown one wire wasn’t connected and they even use wire nuts and scotch locks which aren’t recommended.
1:25 No extra info on electrical concerns and issues the Hummer had.
1:41 The technician said: “It was either a Chevrolet Traverse or Chevrolet equinox. The video is a few months old.”
1:54 Blown Turbo that sounds like Ric Flair. They are referring to this – https://youtu.be/wsiX0-EC-ZE
2:02 A very loose/worn-out wheel bearing on a trailer that must have been neglected for quite a while. A mobile mechanic had a service call to check out this issue for the customer.
2:10 Multiple broken engine mounts like this could cause quite a bit more damage if not repaired right away, or even cause the engine and transmission to drop onto the ground at any moment.
2:24 Dodge Dakota. The technician said he sprayed the door hinges with some lithium grease as the noise was awful and he was shocked the customer didn’t mention anything about it.
2:37 The technician said: “She was extremely upset but it wasn’t our fault or the shop’s fault. The delivery driver didn’t even have the proper insurance to use his personal vehicle for business use so his insurance didn’t cover it. The business he worked for had to pay for it. The shift column shaft and bushings were extremely worn out and the PRNDL cable was broken so he said I thought it was in park but it wasn’t. Just idled right into the bay right after he got out of the truck.”
2:47 It’s a 1970 Pontiac GTO.
3:04 Outro. Thanks for watching!

21 thoughts on “Customer States Brake Pedal Is Spongy After New Brakes Were Installed | Just Rolled In

  1. I have a beautiful 68 Mustang I've owned since 1977. Lifelong Southern California car. About 5 years ago my brothers car failed and needed a new transmission, couldn't afford a rental and begged me to let him borrow it for the 3 weeks it would take to get his fixed. Well that turned into about 3 months. One day my sister in law calls and says she almost got into an accident and that the brakes completely failed! When I get to where she was at, I checked the brake fluid it was very pink!! They had no money and it cost me about 900 dollars for a new master cylinder, 4 new wheel cylinders new front brake lines, and serious flushing of the system to get it all resolved. Thank God it didn't get wrecked and possibly injure her or others. That was the moment I told myself, never loan my Stang out ever again!! Turned out he asked my moron nephew to top off the brake fluid for him as he had checked all the fluids and found it low. Yeah he grabbed transmission fluid…

  2. Used to hate muscle cars, especially the new ones but now for some reason I respect and love people who take care of these cars. They honestly look like beautiful machines
