0:00 Intro
0:05 As described, the other shop just rotated the tire 180 degrees (after debeading it) and it balanced without any issues on only taking a few ounces. This is before as well, the technician, unfortunately, didn’t have a clip of it afterward.
0:23 Close to 110 psi / 7.5 bar in this tire that should only have around 3-35 psi. The tire light will still be on if the tires are overfilled.
0:31 The technician said: “All she told us is that she ran off the road and it wasn’t at a bad angle so she didn’t know why the airbags went off. We said that she had to have it so close to rolling over, the SDM thought it was rolling and deployed the airbags. Hard to get the full story out of a lot of these customers.”
0:46 The lower control arm was damaged (bent), the strut was completely broken and the tire had sidewall damage. The technician was driving it out of the after he quoted the repairs.
1:02 The technician said this somehow drove in as well. The idler arm wasn’t bolted to the center link, missing cotter pins and the toe was off due to the tie rod ends not being installed correctly.
1:26 Bushings that needed to be replaced were for the lateral arms and transmission mount. The customer finally got them replaced as their “fix” didn’t fix the clunking noise. The first time the customer declined repairs as they said they didn’t like the quote.
1:37 The technician said he has never seen this before and doesn’t know what caused this as there seems to be no impact damage. As well these are the original steel wheels (OEM).
1:53 The battery is too big so the battery posts touch the underneath of the hood which causes the sparks.
2:00 A Toyota badge, Subaru wheel caps, and Scion steering wheel.
The technician it was actually a Scion FR-S
2:13 The technician said: “I don’t know I never got the full story. The crazy thing is that truck was driven in like that. I quoted a new lower control arm, rotor, hub(it was obviously bent but you can’t see that in the video but when you rotate the hub you can see the run out with just your eye), c/v boots (the outer boot was torn and slinging grease), brake line, and front strut assembly. I also told the service writer there may be other parts messed up (steering knuckle or possibly upper control arm as well) and that I wouldn’t be able to tell until I got the rest of it fixed and on the alignment machine.”
2:24 Surprising to see this in a company vehicle. The technician thinks it’s wired like this so the person who drives this company vehicle can quickly/easily remove it if needed. What a terrible wiring job though!
3:01 Not sure if the deer (doe) was okay or not since it ran away.
The viewer who shared this said it’s something you would never believe if you didn’t see it on camera. He said if he has time/remembers, he will give us an update.
3:15 Outro. Thanks for watching!

The "identity crisis" car is a Toyota GT86/Subaru BR-Z/Scion FR-S. The same vehicle was sold under the Toyota, Subaru, and Scion brands, so the owner most likely just had some OEM parts taken from another of the same car. The badging was the only major difference between versions. They're awesome cars, too – one of the best low-budget sports cars of the past decade.
I am sorry…someone actually believed that spray foam would repair bushings?? The truck with the light bar and sub woofer…hope the driver knows how to use a fire extinguisher
“Another shop did it” = look at how badly WE fucked up
Somehow it’s always another shop. Get real.
2:02 That's actually legit…a Scion FR-S with Toyota badge and Subaru BRZ wheels
This is a problem I see more often than not that other shops just keep continuously not removing the older weights that are on that wheel and then guess what the customer comes back who knew..
Counterbalanced too lol
Sometimes I think my wiring is kinda messy, then I see these videos
That sub/light bar wiring job….good lord.
The toyota, Scion, Subaru badged one was probably just a joke with the FRS, BRZ, 86 as they are all the same car (slight differences) under those brands.
Si …por?
That toyotafordetc reminds me of Johnny Cash
You know how some people just shouldn't be allowed to own pets? Sometimes I feel the same about vehicles.
The goose had me rolling! 🤣😭
Should open a garage and name it "another shop" but you may want to run this idea by lawyer first in case liability issues due to all the shoddy work that 'another shop' always does…
I feel for all these customers who decline work. So many people have been screwed over it's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic and the prices are also ridiculous now
The classic Scion GR BRZ
What is wrong with people?
This is just unbelievable that people bring them in I think they all should have a I.Q test before driving
Sweet mother of god that was the stupidest routing of a power cable I have ever seen.
LOT OF DUMBASSES IN THIS WORLD
If you get Your tires balanced and the shop puts weights across from each other like that the Shop has NO clue how to Balance tires. Those weights are trying to counter balance the weights on the other side. Sometimes to fix the issue all you need to do is move all the weight a little in one direction or the other to make it true, not add more weight..
