7. No lie, Dane Cook is a sweet guy! I messaged him one time years ago when I was at a bad place in my life and he actually messaged me back and it meant the world to me. I then years later messaged him on Instagram and told him what that meant to me and he messaged me back then too!

10. I have anything but respect for whoever bet on themself like Dane did. We have a comedian here in Quebec who rent the Montreal Forum for a show. It was in 1993, the same year that the Montreal Canadians won their last Stanley cup in this same Forum. To this day, Jean-Marc Parent still my favorite french comedian because he bet on himself.

35. Dane my man! I have been a huge fan of yours since I was a teenager in the late 00's watching your stuff. You were one of the largest inroads to stand up comedy for me and I have only grown to love it more and more. I only learned about what happened with your brother like 5 years after the fact, which to me seemed like it meant it had totally ruined you, and that made me sad. Its really great to see that you rose above that, because the timeline was confusing from the outside and you were pretty kind in not going straight to the press I guess.

    I would love to watch your "true crime/comedy" documentary dude.
