0:00 Intro
0:05 The technician said they think that the previous owner used some sort of builders silicone to try and hide the oil leaks.
Very important on why you get inspections done before buying a vehicle!
0:18 Not only was the bodywork terrible but the methanol injection kit wasn’t installed correctly, an issue with the brakes, missing air filter, oil catch can installed incorrectly, and a whole lot more. The technician said it would most likely require a complete gut of everything that the customer installed so it can be done correctly. He is still waiting for the customer to pick it up from his shop.
0:34 No extra info.
0:49 Customer left the oil cap off after topping up the engine with oil.
Only lost half a quart of engine oil.
0:59 The customer had left the oil filter loose the entire time which was most likely the culprit of the oil leak. The customer also said he does all of his own oil changes. Simple fix though!
1:08 More info about this technical service bulletin here – https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10158828-9999.pdf
The technician said the bill would have been around $2000 so that is most likely why the customer declined repairs at this time.
1:23 No extra info.
1:35 They didn’t mention what the fix was, but it looks like the boost pipe is acting as ground which is causing the horn to honk.
1:42 No extra info.
1:50 Outer tie rod end was installed upside down (look at the driver’s side) and the nut was not tightened. The customer also installed new front struts and sway bar links.
1:58 He also mentioned that the customer apparently bought 3 rolls of duct tape to try and fix it.
2:07 Caliper piston pushed out which caused the brake fluid leak. They never did find out if it was the customer who did this or actually his friend.
2:19 Customer reversed power steering lines. He connected the high side to the low side. The shop re-routed them, topped up the fluid and it fixed the issue.
2:39 The mechanic said this really happened when I asked him.
2:52 Draining engine oil on a Porsche 911.
2:58 Outro. Thanks for watching!

  1. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.. i know someone who took their 4×4 in to have new breaks fitted by a mechanic mate, he charged him a fortune and it had a noise in it after the "repair" he took it back twice because of the noise but was told there's nothing wrong.. the owner decided to fit some bars on it himself and when he was under the car he could see the brake caliper just dangling down hanging from the brake line.. needless to say he wasn't real impressed and called the mechanic and told him to come fix it now
